Oosterwijk Aloys

(b. 1956, The Netherlands) Aloys Oosterwijk studied art in Arnhem and published his first comics in various Dutch magazines such as De Omelet, De Vrije Balloen and Talent. His series 'Cor Morelli' appeared in Robbedoes (the Dutch version of magazine Spirou) and Sjosji, as well as in six albums. Between 1991 and 1997, Oosterwijk created several stories for girl magazine Tina, such as 'Blanche & Gijske' (text by Patty Klein). For the newspaper De Telegraaf, he made 'Golven Met Gary Wiren', an instructional strip on golfing, and for several yachting magazines, he drew 'Passionate Yachtsmen'. Oosterwijk's erotic comics appeared in Spanish magazines Totem El Comix and Kiss. In recent years, he has earned success with his weekly strip 'Willems Wereld' in the magazine Panorama, of which three albums have been published.
